Iron Dome intercepts drone from Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces have announced that the Iron Dome air defense system managed to shoot down a drone that entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon across the sea.

The drone’s interception occurred over the Ein Hamifratz area, south of Acre. Previously, sirens had been activated to warn of incoming rockets in the towns of Ein Hamifratz and Kfar Masaryk.

According to the information provided, these sirens were apparently due to the launch of the Iron Dome system missile to neutralize the drone, not the drone itself.
