The Israel Defense Forces say ground forces continue to operate in the northern Gaza Strip, killing Hamas gunmen and destroying sites belonging to the terrorist group.
The IDF says troops killed several Hamas gunmen who opened fire on ground forces in the Strip and other identified terrorists on Gaza beach near the community of Zikim in southern Israel.
According to the IDF, ground troops, including tanks, also attacked Hamas-guided missile positions, anti-tank positions, observation posts and other infrastructure.
The forces also ordered the Air Force to carry out attacks against buildings used by the terrorist group, the IDF adds.
The IDF released a video showing troops operating in Gaza today, as well as some of the recent airstrikes on the Strip.
